Re-Imagining An Icon

Located in the heart of Edmonton’s ICE District, a new chapter is underway at National Bank Centre, with recently renovated spaces designed to enhance the experience for tenants and visitors alike.

Originally completed in 1983 as Manulife Place, the tower quickly became one of Edmonton’s most recognizable office buildings and a defining part of the downtown skyline. For nearly four decades, it stood as the city’s tallest building and remains a landmark in Edmonton’s commercial core.

Today, we’re reimagining this iconic building, with renovated spaces recently unveiled to brokers and long-standing partners that reflect a renewed vision for the property while building on the legacy that has defined National Bank Centre for generations.

At the centre of the transformation is a refreshed conference facility designed to support the way people work today. Flexible meeting spaces, collaborative seating areas, and dedicated rooms such as the Forum create an environment suited to everything from large presentations to focused discussions. Tenants now benefit from updated common areas and amenities designed to support connection, collaboration, and productivity throughout the workday.

Alongside the renovated offices is a new fitness centre developed in partnership with JAX Fitness. Featuring a wide range of equipment, dedicated workout zones, and convenient tenant access, the facility introduces an additional wellness-focused amenity to support those who work in the building.

These enhancements are part of a broader investment in the workplace experience at National Bank Centre. By combining modern amenities with the character and legacy of a downtown landmark, the building is positioned to meet the needs of today’s tenants while continuing to play a prominent role in Edmonton’s future.
